2027: Kebbi Former Speaker Advises Politicians Against Provocative Comments

The former Speaker of the Kebbi State House of Assembly, Hon. Sama’ila Abdulmumini Kamba, Sarkin Zabarmawan Kabi has advised politicians to shun provocative comments, saying for any politician to succeed in election process he or she must serve his/her people locally.

He made this request while speaking with journalists at his residence in Gesse Phase II in Birnin Kebbi.

He said whenever the elections come, what people are concerned about is, what someone has done to his people in terms of development of his or her locality.

He however, cautioned politicians against contest without thinking of what they have done to their people at the grassroots level.

Kamba further disclosed that Kebbi State was lucky to have Dr. Nasir Idris, Kauran Gwandu as a sole candidate of the ruling party APC come 2027 due to his commitment to serving his people locally.

“This gentleman was always in the midth of his people, eating together, praying together, chatting together as well as condoling them or sympathising them whenever they lost lives or properties,” the former speaker said.

Once you are doing all these to the people, they will never forget you, especially when the elections come,” he added.

He however, warned politicians against engaging in the politics of bitterness and blackmail.
