YSFON President Gawuna Felicitates Muslims On Eid el Kabir

As Nigeria joins millions of Muslim faithful all over the world to celebrate this year’s Eid el Kabir, the National President of Youth Sports Federation of Nigeria (YSFON), Dr. Nasiru Yusuf Gawuna has congratulated them for witnessing another festival of sacrifice.

In a goodwill message he personally signed, Gawuna, who’s the immediate past Deputy Governor of Kano State advised Muslims to see the celebration as a period of sober reflection and also remember the poor and needy among them.

He also admonished Muslims to continue to live in peace with their neighbours and also use the day to pray for the peace and prosperity of the country.

“I want to use this opportunity to congratulate all Muslim faithful for witnessing another Eid season. As you celebrate this season of sacrifice, remember to extend your benevolence to the poor and vulnerable persons amongst you and also use the day as a day of reflection and pray for the peace and security of our country,” concluded the statement.
