The Director-General of the President Bola Ahmed Tinubu 2027 Campaign Council, Senator Abdulaziz Abubakar Yari has declared that his council is working tirelessly to see that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu returns to power in 2027.
He stated this on Monday in Birnin Kebbi, capital of Kebbi state when he led his campaign team on a courtesy call to Governor Nasir Idris, Kauran Gwandu at the Government House.
According to Yari, the Campaign Council will work with all and sundry, politicians, traditional rulers, political groups and other individuals in the commitment to Mr. President Bola Tinubu getting both votes and 25 per cent across the 36 states to be become victorious.
“That’s why we went some states in the country, met with the traditional rulers including the Sultan of Sokoto and other stakeholders to solicit people’s favour on behalf of the President to support his reelection bid in the forthcoming general elections,” said Yari.
“Today we are in Kebbi state, we have seen how a crowd of APC Supporters, Traditional rulers and other groups received us warmly which shown that, APC under governor Idris is one and working in support of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu,” DG Yari added.
He commended the warm reception they received from Kebbi and assured that the state would ensure President Tinubu, Governor Idris and candidates of APC return to power in 2027.
Yari, however, noted that Tinubu administration is committed to ending the banditry activities inherited from the immediate past government.
At Abdullahi Fodio Palace in Gwandu Emirate, Yari had informed the four traditional rulers who received his team that they were in the Palace to seek their blessings on the tasks ahead of 2027 general elections.
He told them his team will go round to remaining three Emirate Councils in Kebbi state to seek same blessings from their subjects.
Governor Nasir Idris, in his response, expressed his happiness for the campaign train and assured them that Kebbi state will deliver massive votes and required percentage for all APC candidates right from President Tinubu down to State Assembly.
