Police Arrests 13 Suspects For Various Criminal Acts In Kebbi

Kebbi State Police Command has has arrested 13 Suspects in connection with alleged commitment of various criminal activities in the state within one month.

The State Commissioner of Police, CP Umar Muhammed Hadejia, revealed this to newsmen while parading the suspects at the Command’s Headquarters in Birnin Kebbi on Wednesday.

According to him, the successes were recorded through intelligence-led policing, coordinated operations and collaboration with sister security agencies, Vigilantes, Civilian Joint Task Force and other stakeholders.

Hadejia noted that his Command remains committed to protecting lives and properties, and sustained pressure on criminal elements particularly bandits and Lakurawa terrorists across the state.

The police boss further stressed that intelligence gathering information indicated that the suspects were arrested at various locations including Illo- Lolo road, Ka’oje Bakin Ruwa in Bagudo Local Government areas, Zazagawa village in Argungu Local Government area, Forestry area in Birnin Kebbi metropolis and Makera Market in Birnin Kebbi Local Government areas .

He added that the suspects were arrested in connection with crimes such as armed robbery, kidnapping and supporting bandits with vital informations regarding the whereabouts of innocent and unsuspecting people in the state.
