Maradin Zazzau, Wakilin Watsa Labarai, Dan Saran Zazzau Turban 32 Cabinet Members

Maradin Zazzau, Dr. Haruna Muhammed Haruna Jumare alongside two of his co-traditional tittle holders, have turbanned 32 members of their cabinet with various positions.

Speaking during the turbaning ceremony over the weekend, he said that their appointments were based on their qualities, commitment and love for the promotion of traditional institution.

He charged them to redouble their commitments towards uplifting and promoting peace, traditional heritage in Zazzau Emirate.

He also urged them to use their wealth of experience to support Zazzau Emirate, Kaduna state and Nigeria in ensuring peaceful coexistence and development at all times.

The traditional tittle holder expressed appreciation to His Highness, the Emir of Zazzau for approving the confirmation of the tittles and turbaning ceremony on his subjects.

He said, the emir’s commitment towards promoting traditional institutions, peace, and developments in his emirate and beyond is something to be proud of by the people of Zazzau Emirate.

Maradin Zazzau being a promoter of traditional institution and youths development, charged the newly turbaned to show their appreciation by doing their best while discharging their respective assigned responsibilities.

Those turbaned by Wakilin Watsa Labaran Zazzau, Alhaji Sani Ibrahim Tanko includes a veteran Broadcaster Alhaji Jibrin Ibrahim Goma as Sarkin Padan Wakilin Watsa Labaran Zazzau, Ishaq Sani Tanko as Madakin Watsa Labaran Zazzau among eight others.

Maradin Zazzau Dr. Haruna Muhammed Jumare turbaned Malam Salisu Balarabe as Madakin Maradin Zazzau, Alhaji Ibrahim Muhammad Jumare as Ciroman Maradin Zazzau, Malam Sulaiman Haruna Jumare as Wamban Maradin Zazzau and Alhaji Mohammed Adamu Rabi’u as Tafidan Maradin Zazzau among others.

Dan Saran Zazzau Alhaji Abdullahi A. U. Goma turbaned Umar Farouq Goma as Madakin Dan Saran Zazzau, Saifullahi Jibrin Goma as Wazirin Dan Saran Zazzau, Ahmed Ibrahim Dodo as Wakilin Dan Saran Zazzau among others.

Speaking shortly after the turbaning ceremony the Registrar of National Board for Arabic and Islamic Studies (NBAIS) Professor Yahuza Suleiman Iman said he was short of words to express his gratitude to His Highness the Emir of Zazzau for his wisdom in promoting the traditional institutions.

Professor Yahuza also acknowledged how the emir is championing conflict resolutions in his emirate among the communities since his assumption on the throne as Emir of Zazzau.
