The Special Adviser, Political and Power to Governor Nasir Idris of Kebbi State, Alhaji Kabiru Sani Giant has said that the All Progressives Congress (APC), as a party, is intact in the state.
He stated this on Friday after a meeting of executive members of the party held at the party’s secretariat in Birnin Kebbi.
According to him, the essence of meeting was to begin mobilisation of all its supporters across the 21 Local Government areas of the state ahead of the 2027 general elections.
He added that the executive members also discussed issues on how to review the internal problems and campaign strategies towards winning the elections from top to bottom.
Giant, however, noted that the meeting was also aimed at reinforcing unity among members and ensuring that the party remains focused and well-positioned for the forthcoming elections.
When asked weather there was a problem or division within the party which prompted the convening of the meeting, Giant dismissed reports of divisions saying the meeting, as a routine consultative engagement, aimed at strengthening internal democracy and party cohesion.
“APC is intact and there is no crisis within our party in Kebbi State,” Sani Giant said.
He commended Governor Idris for supporting the party which improved its unity and progress across the state.
He also commended the acting state chairman of the ruling party, Adamu Mudi-Augie, and other members of the state executive for their cooperation and commitment always.
