GALADIMA: An upright, disciplined person – Toro

The former Secretary-General of the Nigeria Football Association (NFA), the Yariman Toro, Alhaji Sani Ahmed Toro was among dignitaries who observed the funeral prayer in the city of Kano, of late Alhaji Ibrahim Galadima today, Sunday, 19th April, 2026.

Alhaji Sani Toro who, from Bauchi, joined several other dignitaries for the funeral prayer which was performed according to Islamic rites witnessed an unprecedented crowd that gathered to pay their last respect for a distinguished personality.

Toro who prayed Allah to reward Alhaji Galadima with Aljanna Firdausi, appreciates all those in attendance for the funeral, particularly former Governors Ali Sa’ad Birin-Kudu of Jigawa and Ibrahim Shekaru of Kano among various others numerous to mention.

Among other important dignitaries who were in attendance were His Royal Highness, Emir Aminu Ado Bayero, National Sports Commission Chairman, Shehu Dikko, NFF President, Ibrahim Gusau, Secretary to the State Government (SSG) of Kaduna, Dr. Abdulkadir Muazu, who used to serve as a team doctor of the national teams at various times.
