Ballon d’Or 2026: Top 5 Contenders After PSG’s UEFA Super Cup Triumph

According to a report by Daily Post on Friday August 14 2026 Paris Saint-Germain’s 2-1 victory over Aston Villa in the UEFA Super Cup has added another layer to the ongoing battle for the 2026 Ballon d’Or award.

The French champions continued their remarkable run by securing another European trophy against Aston Villa. Khvicha Kvaratskhelia gave PSG the lead during the first half, but Brian Madjo responded before the break to bring the English side back into the contest.
