Doma United Prepare For NPFL Return, Unveil Ayeni As New TA

Fresh from securing promotion to the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL), Doma United FC have officially commenced preparations for the new season with the unveiling of Coach Deji Ayeni as the club’s new Technical Adviser.

The Savannah Tigers are determined to make a strong impact on their return to the top flight and have moved swiftly to strengthen their technical department ahead of the forthcoming NPFL campaign.

Speaking during the unveiling ceremony, the club’s Chief Executive Officer, Alh. Suleiman Umar (Mai Doma), expressed strong confidence in coach Ayeni’s ability to lead the team, citing his wealth of experience, tactical expertise and proven commitment to building a competitive squad capable of excelling in the elite league.

He further stated that coach Najib Mabo, who successfully guided Doma United FC back to the NPFL, will continue to work closely with the newly appointed Technical Adviser.

According to him, coach Mabo remains an integral part of the club’s technical setup and is currently pursuing the requisite coaching certifications required to lead a team in the elite division.

With pre-season activities now underway, players and officials are expected to intensify preparations as Doma United aim to consolidate their status in the NPFL and achieve a successful campaign.

The appointment of a new technical adviser follows the club’s recent restructuring efforts aimed at positioning the team for greater success after earning promotion back to the NPFL.
