The Yobe State Council of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), has congratulated Governor Mai Mala Buni on his 58th birthday.
In a statement jointly signed by the Council’s Chairman, Rajab Mohammed Ismael and the Secretary, Alhassan Mamudo, in Damaturu on Wednesday, they commended Governor Buni’s leadership qualities, vision and dedication in moving the state forward.
“We wish to commend Governor Buni for the remarkable developmental strides that have transformed the state, particularly in infrastructure, completion of key roads and bridges linking rural communities. In education, we commend him for the construction of new schools and provision of scholarships. In health, for the expansion of medical facilities and free maternal healthcare programmes. And in the area of agriculture, for supporting farmers through subsidised inputs and market access.”
According to NUJ, these achievements reflect his commitment to improving the welfare and prosperity of Yobe’s citizens.’
