Yobe APC Constitutes 43-man Critical Reconciliation Committee Ahead Of 2027

The All Progressives Congress, APC Yobe State, working committee has approved the constitution of the zonal reconciliation committee to engage with critical stakeholders ahead of the 2027 general elections.

This is contained in a statement issued and signed by the state party chairman, Alhaji Muhammed Gadaka and made available to journalists by his Press Secretary, Hajiya Sa’adatu Maina in Damaturu.

According to the statement, their appointments were made in recognition of their laudable contributions, commitments and loyalty to the party.

The statement added that the committee’s terms of reference include receiving complaints from aggrieved members and providing an enabling environment for all members of the party irrespective of the groups they belong prior to the conduct of the party primary elections.

The committee is also expected to unify and coordinate all party structures and support groups under a common fold ahead of the upcoming general elections and to engage with stakeholders to identify conflict areas and seek advice for genuine reconciliation.

The committee members from Yobe East include Alhaji Muhammed Lamin as chairman, Alhaji Mala Musti as vice chairman, Alhaji Umara Baba Usman, member, Alhaji Babayo Jalo Tetteba, member, Alhaji Lawal Kawu, member, Alhaji Ba’ari Goni Mama, member, Alhaji Ibrahim Dapchi, member and Alhaji Bello Arabi, member.

Others are Senator Jalo Zarami, member; Alhaji Modu Aji Juluri, member, Alhaji Rabiu Dapchi, member; Awari Abba Gaidam, member, while Alhaji Modu Ma’aji Ajiri will serve as secretary of zone A committee.

Meanwhile Yobe South has Engr Abubakar D. Aliyu as chairman, Aliyu Sale Bagare, vice chairman, Senator Alkali Abdulkadir Jajere, member, Alhaji Baba Ardo Potiskum, member, Alhaji Ayuba Muqaddas, member, Alhaji Adamu chilariye, member, Alhaji Yunusa Kukuri, member, Hajiya Halima Joda, member, Barrister Abubakar Bala Ajeje, member, Alhaji Ibrahim Umar, member, Alhaji Abdullahi Daki, member, Alhaji Adam Yahaya Alabura, member, Hajiya Fati Jajere, member while Barrister Aliyu Shehu Fika will serve as secretary zone B committee.

Those of Yobe North are Alhaji Sidi Yakubu Karasuwa, chairman, Musa Gamcho Tela, vice chairman, Engr Muhammed Kati Machina, member Alhaji Adamu Lamido, member, Alhaji Budde Sheriff, member, Alhaji Yusuf Dala, member, Alhaji Zannah Ali Zakariya member, Alhaji Shehu Riga, member, Alhaji Sani Inuwa, member, Alhaji Suleiman Garba, member, Alhaji Lawan Mai Bade, member, Kadai Muhammed Kadai, member, Hajiya Hajara Lawan, member with Barrister Yusuf Bala Haladu to serve as secretary zone C committee.

According to the statement, the committee is expected to conclude and submit its report within two weeks upon their inauguration.
