“I offer my unreserved apologies to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, whom I revere and honour as a mentor and leader. I deeply regret that my actions, though unintended to offend, may have been perceived as a breach of public conduct,” the statement read.
K1 also extended his apologies to the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA), the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN), the pilot in command of the aircraft involved, and the airline staff who were affected by the incident. He acknowledged the importance of rules and protocols in aviation and assured the public that he will uphold such standards in the future.
“To the NCAA, FAAN, and especially the captain and crew of the flight, I sincerely apologize. It was never my intention to delay or disrupt operations,” he stated.
