…..Deputy Chief Of Administration, Veterans Affairs, Charges Re-engaged Retired Personnel

The Deputy Chief of Administration Veterans Affairs, Maj-General Uriah Opuene who was on Assessment Visit with his team to Depot Nigerian Army (NA) Zaria for the Assessment of Re-engaged Retired Personnel, has charged them to always discharge their duties with utmost commitment while contributing their quota in training recruits for the Nigerian Army.
A statements issued by Major Everest Ochienta, Assistant Director, Army Public Relations, Depot Nigerian Army Zaria said the Team leader made the assertion during his interactive session with the Re-engaged Retired Personnel of Depot NA Zaria which held on Tuesday at the Depot NA Zaria Auditorium.
The Deputy Chief of Administration stated that the purpose of his visit was to affirm the Chief of Army Staff, Lieutenant-General Olufemi Oluyede’s unwavering commitment to improving the welfare of the Re-engaged Retired Personnel in Depot NA Zaria, as well as to have an on-the-spot assessment and evaluation.
Maj-Gen Uriah Opuene earlier, during a courtesy visit to the Commandant, Depot NA Zaria, Major General Ahmadu Bello Mohammed at the Depot NA Conference Room, had stated that no stone will be left unturned by his team in ensuring that the objective of the assessment visit is met.
Responding, the Commandant, Depot NA Zaria Major-General Ahmadu Bello Mohammed said he is currently working out modalities on how to secure convenient accommodation for the Re-engaged Retired Personnel as a way of boosting their morale.
The assessment visit witnessed the inspection of the Quarter Guard by the Team Leader, presentation of souvenirs and group photograph.
In attendance were the Acting Chief of Staff, Depot NA Zaria, Lieutenant Colonel Adedayo Adejuwon, other members of the Assessment Team, Senior Officers and Officers of Depot NA Zaria.
