Tinubu Is Growing The Economy, Microeconomy Will Still Flourish, Nigerians Will Be Bappy – Yusuf
According to a report by Daily Trust on Wednesday, November 4, 2026, Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf of Kano State has called on Nigerians to exercise patience with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration, expressing confidence that the country would soon begin to experience the positive effects of the government’s economic reforms.
He maintained that the policies introduced by the president would eventually improve the economy and create better conditions for Nigerians.
Yusuf made the appeal on Wednesday through the National Ex-Officio of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Muhammad Jamo Yusuf, who represented him at the inauguration of the party’s campaign council in Tarauni Local Government Area of Kano State.
The event was organised ahead of the 2027 general elections and featured the inauguration of campaign committees responsible for mobilising support for the APC presidential, governorship, senatorial, House of Representatives and House of Assembly candidates.
The governor urged Nigerians not to lose confidence in the Tinubu administration, noting that the government had introduced several economic measures aimed at addressing the country’s challenges and establishing a stronger foundation for sustainable development.
He explained that although some of the decisions taken by the president were difficult, they were necessary to stabilise the economy and create opportunities for long-term growth.
According to him, the government’s determination to implement the reforms would eventually produce positive results across different sectors.
Yusuf also pointed to the relative stability of the naira as evidence that the administration’s economic policies were beginning to create a more favourable environment for commercial activities.
He said the improved predictability of the currency would enable business owners to plan their operations and carry out transactions with greater confidence.
Speaking through his representative, the governor said, “Any businessman can go to the market and transact business because the naira has been stable and strong. Now he is growing the economy and the microeconomy will still flourish, whereby Nigerians will be happy.”
