Honourable Muhammad Garba Dogo Dan Amar, the House of Representatives candidate for Katagum federal constituency in Bauchi State under the banner of opposition PDP, has stated that his party aligns with the Nigerian people, therefore no party holds a place in the hearts of the nation’s people quite like the PDP.
He noted that it has been “the most prominent party since the return to democratic rule in 1999, and if you elect us, we will insha Allah treat you fairly”.
The candidate made the remarks while inaugurating his campaign committee members at the Oricon Hotel conference hall in Azare.
The event was attended by key party stakeholders from the Katagum Local Government Area, Shira Local Government and Toro, led by Alhaji Abdu Kuda, a former chairman of the local government.
According to Garba Dogo, the PDP stands out because, since the advent of democracy, no other party has matched its record of delivering meaningful development for the people and the country as a whole.
Consequently, he expressed confidence that, by the grace of God, they would succeed in winning all their elections — from the highest to the lowest levels.
He therefore loudly called upon the people of his constituency in Katagum Local Government Area to turn out enmass during the elections to elect him as their representative in the Federal House of Representatives — noting that he is fully prepared to provide effective representation, God willing — and to vote for candidates across the board, from the topmost ticket to the bottom.
He added that to ensure success, he had established a robust 37-member committee tasked with reaching every nooks and crannies of the local government area to engage with the public.
Honourable Garba Dogo urged the committee members to do their utmost to discharge the responsibility entrusted on them: identifying and pursuing the best strategies to achieve victory.
He also conveyed a message from their party’s (PDP) Bauchi State gubernatorial candidate, Alhaji Usman Supi, urging the public to vote for the PDP across all levels to ensure a successful outcome.
Earlier, while speaking at the committee’s inauguration, the committee’s coordinator, Yahya Muhammad Gadauji, assured the candidate that — God willing — they would work tirelessly to do everything necessary to secure victory for both the party and the candidate.
