Niger: Reactions As Atiku Announces He’ll Take Care Of Education Of Boy Who Spoke To Journalist
Social media users have taken to their official X account on Sunday, September 20, 2026 to react after the former Vice President of Nigeria, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar announced that he will take care of the education of Yusuf Aliyu.
This came after Aliyu told News Central TV journalist that most of them work in order to support their parents and also finance their education.
In the statement that Atiku Abubakar shared on his official X account, he said Aliyu should be protected. He said he will ensure that the brilliance of the boy is not buried by poverty.
According to Atiku Abubakar on his official X account;
“I appeal specifically for his safety. His courage must not expose him or his family to intimidation or retaliation. I am prepared to support his education and ensure that the brilliance we have witnessed is not buried by poverty”.
