NBTE’s Visit Arouses Arewa Ambassadors Int’l College Of Health

The Chairman Governing Council of Arewa Ambassadors International College of Health Science and Technology, Zaria, Alhaji AbdulAziz Suleiman has described the visit by the National Board for Technical Education (NBTE) committee to the College as a landmark recognition of the institution’s contribution to the health sector in the country.
AbdulAziz Suleiman who stated this during the NBTE committee members’ visit for assessment of the programmes being run by the College preparatory to accreditation by the Board.
He said they will ensure that the College received all the necessary support needed to make it more effective and reliable to be one of the best health institutions in the country.

Earlier in his welcome address, the College’s Provost, Malam Murtala Iliyasu said their mission is to produce manpower to the health sector who are professionally trained.
He also informed the committee that the College has adequate training capacity and sufficient facilities such as students hostels and classrooms.
In his remarks, the team leader, Hamidu Abba said their visit was to see things by themselves and give advise where necessary, and to file their report back to the Board for consideration and approval.
He assured the College management that the committee will do the needful towards realizing the College’s efforts to train health personnel in the country as the nation is facing dearth in the health sector.
Also speaking, the NBTE Director, North West, Mr. Danladi Bala Akút said a new guideline for skills training has been signed into law by President Bola Tinubu making it compulsory for students to learn skills that will support their field of specialization at the end of their programme.
He added that the new guideline is an added advantage because after their Degree, HND or ND they receive certificate for the skills learned.
The visitation team included Hamidu Abba as team leader, Fauziyya Ahmad Muhammad, Babangida ibrahim, ICT and Mr. bala Akut, Zonal Director, North West.
