More Evidence That President Tinubu Came To Destroy The North

I have written on two occasions that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu came to destroy the Northern part of Nigeria, not to move the country forward. The last of the two write ups was made on 16-5-2025, and titled ‘How The President Is Destroying The North By Stealth’.

The first paragraph of the article reads: “It appears to all right thinking citizens of Nigeria that the President, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, is hell bent on DESTROYING the Northern part of the country, regardless of the consequences of his vindictive actions on the corporate existence of the country. And some greedy, selfish and STUPID northern politicians and their illiterate cheerleaders are supporting him for the little monetary gain they are making for themselves from the ill motivated venture.”

I am, however, afraid that the Nigerian number one citizen is NOT going about his insidious plan by STEALTH anymore, he is now very OPEN about it, and he appears to be saying ‘to hell with the Northerners’.

The failed forceful attempt by the Tinubu regime to remove a 140 MVE transformer from Tudun Wada, Zaria (the Northern capital of learning) and take it to a state in the Southern part of the country, may have been the reason for the CONSTANT DARKNESS being SUFFERED in most parts of the North recently. The Zaria transformer is NOT even owned by the federal government or the Kaduna state government. It is owned by the community at which it is cited.

Currently, most parts of Katsina state capital do not get more than two hours supply of electricity, which comes and goes in the middle of the night. And when it comes earlier it lasts only long enough to allow people to prepare their beds, but no longer.

A staff who refused to co-sign the papers for the removal of the transformer was transferred from the place on ORDERS of the PRESIDENCY. But the locals are standing by him.

The same Tinubu regime moved the Zaria Military School to the South. The school was located in the town by the government of the Northern region during the First Republic. The Tinubu regime also scattered into six campuses, the Zaria-based School of Aviation, one in each of the geo-political zones in the country. It was also established by the Northern region government.

The Tinubu regime has been wasting Nigeria’s money by trillions on Lagos state, and some states in the South, at the expense of the Northern region. Not unlike another Yoruba President, Tinubu denies the North sufficient electricity, as a result of which most of the industries in the area have died.

While suffocating the North of the necessary funds to do the ‘doable’, he is busy spending TRILLIONS of the taxpayers money on Lagos state. The Minister of Works, David Umahi, not long ago announced that the sum of N3.6 trillion was going to be spent to RENOVATE (again) the Third Mainland Bridge. And it was early this year that it was made known that N717 billion was going to be spent to RENOVATE the Lagos Airport.

In the 2025 Budget, while the president put trillions of naira for road works in the South, a mere 500+ billion was allocated for the same purpose to the North. The region was just allocated the amount because not giving any amount to it would easily expose the TRUTH in Tinubu’s earlier boast that he did not believe in Nigeria.

A one time Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF), Babachir David Lawal had stated that “the problem with Yoruba is that when you support them and they win, they turn around to behave as if they have subdued you.”

And Tinubu thinks his Action Congress of Nigeria (ACN) was responsible for the Presidential victory of the immediate past president in 2015. If so was the case, then let him revive his party (ACN) and see how far he can go in 2027.

The claim of his making it possible for Muhammadu Buhari to win the Presidential election in 2015 was exposed by an analysis by Mr. Michael Ofueke, which clearly shows that it was in fact the other way round.

In an article I penned on 22/2/2025, with the very long title: ‘Analysis That Exposes The Lie In Tinubu’s EMILOKAN statement, And Why He Is Employing Dirty And Despicable Tricks For An Undeserved Second Term’, I said, among other things, thus: “In his infamous EMILOKAN statement to an all Yoruba attentive listeners, presidential candidate Bola Ahmed Tinubu boastfully claimed that the decision of Muhammadu Buhari to recant on his earlier vow not to contest again, was due to him. He claimed to be “able to convince and promise him my support and the support of ALL the ACN Governors to win the presidential election if he contests again.

“Candidate Tinubu was only telling the truth by half. It was true that he met Buhari at his Kaduna house where the duo held a closed door meeting. BUT he was totally wrong to CLAIM that the ACN support made Buhari win the 2015 presidential election.

“In 2007, Tinubu gave the presidential ticket of his party – ACN to Atiku Abubakar. Atiku Abubakar came a distant 3rd behind Buhari and Yar’Adua with 2,367,848 votes which was a mere 7.45% of the total vote.

“In 2011, Tinubu gave the presidential ticket of his party ACN to Nuhu Ribadu. Ribadu came a distant 3rd to Buhari and Jonathan with 2,079,151 which is a mere 5.44% of the total vote.

“On the other hand, Buhari (ANPP) in 2003 presidential elections came 2nd with 12,710,022 votes. Buhari (ANPP) in 2007 presidential elections came 2nd again with 6,605,299 votes. Buhari (CPC) in 2011 came yet 2nd again with 12,214, 853 votes.

“What this means is that, Buhari in the three previous elections he contested, despite the massive rigging of PDP, scored an average of 11 million votes. Tinubu on the other hand was able to get a mere two million votes each for his candidates – Atiku in 2007 and Ribadu in 2011.

“In 2015, Buhari eventually won the presidential elections with 15,424,921 votes. What this again means is that the total effort of every other person and alliance, including Tinubu, his ACN, remnants of ANPP and NPDP etc that helped Buhari win the 2015 presidential election, only added a mere four million votes to Buhari’s consistent 11 million votes.

“It’s then wrong therefore to say that Tinubu made Buhari president because the total effort of Tinubu and his allies together with that of his SouthWest brothers amounted to ordinary four million votes.

“It’s equally safe to say therefore that Buhari wrestled power out of the tight grip of Almighty PDP and handed it to Tinubu on a platter of gold in 2023. Even as Buhari handed it to Tinubu on a platter of gold, he still would have lost if not that the North, through El-Rufai, mobilized once again, to help him cross the line to victory with the smallest of margins.

“Those bragging about 2027 should know that there are so many factors in Nigeria’s elections that money and control of electoral institutions by a sitting leader cannot solve. If money and control of government institutions win elections, Jonathan that postponed elections when security reports informed him that he will lose if elections held as scheduled, withdrew 67 billion Naira and millions of Dollars from CBN, pumped them into his re-election machinery, could have won. Yet he lost.

“There is no substitute to governance and evidential achievements in winning elections. APC, Tinubu and his supporters should quit propaganda, imbecility sycophancy, deceitful distractions and face governance to give Nigerians the improved living conditions they deserve. Time is ticking!”

Be rest assured, Mr. Michael Afueke, that Nigerian voters will do the NEEDFUL in 2027, after which most citizens in the country will heave a sigh of relief, saying ‘good riddance to a bad rubbish’.

May God rid Nigeria of a bad rubbish in the year 2027!)
