Man Utd Move To Sign £212,000-a-Week Striker As Transfer Stalls

Manchester United are keeping a close eye on Paris Saint-Germain striker Randal Kolo Muani, with his proposed move to Juventus currently in limbo, according to journalist Santi Aouna of Foot Mercato.

The Red Devils have already bolstered their attacking options this summer with the arrivals of Matheus Cunha and Bryan Mbeumo, and also added young left-back Diego Leon earlier in the year. However, the club is still actively pursuing a central striker, and Kolo Muani has now emerged as a viable alternative.

The 25-year-old forward, who pockets £212,000 per week at PSG, spent the latter part of the 2024/25 season on loan at Juventus and is eager to return permanently. Juventus remain interested, but financial constraints are slowing their efforts. The Serie A giants are struggling to offload fringe players under Igor Tudor, preventing them from funding a deal that meets PSG’s conditions.

The French champions are not interested in another basic loan and are instead demanding either a permanent transfer or a loan with an obligation to buy. With Juventus currently far from matching those demands, United may see an opportunity to act.

United’s priority remains RB Leipzig striker Benjamin Šeško, with negotiations ongoing. The Bundesliga club values the 22-year-old at £64 million plus add-ons. If a move for Šeško doesn’t materialise, United are reportedly ready to shift their focus to Kolo Muani, taking advantage of the stalled negotiations between Juventus and PSG.

The situation remains fluid, but Manchester United’s interest could heat up quickly if their pursuit of Šeško falls through.
