Suspected Lakurawa bandits have attacked Maje Community in Tsamiya, a border town under Bagudo Local Government Area of Kebbi State killing a Customs Officer and setting ablaze, three vehicles.
It was gathered from an indigene of the area who craved anonimity, revealing that the incident occurred in the early hours of Sunday.
According to the source, the suspected bandits attacked the check points of the Customs men along the busy road of Tsamiya border highway, between Nigeria and Cameroon, and killed the innocent Customs Officer, and raising three buses before fleeing.
When contacted, the Customs Acting Public Relations Officer, Musbau Mustapha confirmed the Killing but, said investigation was in progress.
Also, the spokesman of the Kebbi Police Command, CSP Nafiu Abubakar said they were still awaiting report of the incident from the DPO of the area.
