The Management of Khalifa Isyaku Rabiu University (KHAIRUN), under the leadership of the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Abdulrashid Garba, has received and reviewed the report of the Summer Programme Committee as part of its commitment to ensuring effective planning, coordination and implementation of the University’s academic programmes.

The report, which covered key aspects of the Summer Programme, was carefully presented, discussed and reviewed by the Management, with particular attention given to the processes, responsibilities and operational requirements necessary for the successful implementation of the scheme.

A statement by the University’s acting Director, Public Relations, Media and Internal Affairs, Jibrin Ado Dandawaki said as part of the engagement, emphasis was placed on the orientation and clarification of the roles of Programme Coordinators, Faculty Officers and Departmental Secretaries.

He added that the orientation was aimed at ensuring that all officers involved have a clear understanding of the established procedures, reporting channels and responsibilities associated with the Summer Programme.

Dandawaki maintained that the management noted the importance of effective coordination and collaboration among the various units involved in the programme, stressing that clear role definition, proper documentation, timely communication and adherence to approved procedures are essential to achieving the desired academic and administrative outcomes.

The review further provided an opportunity for Management to assess the progress of the programme, identify areas requiring attention and strengthen the operational framework for subsequent phases of the scheme.

The Vice-Chancellor commended members of the Summer Programme Committee and all officers involved for their efforts and dedication, while encouraging continued professionalism, teamwork and strict adherence to University policies and procedures.

The meeting underscores KHAIRUN Management’s continued commitment to academic excellence, administrative efficiency and continuous improvement in the delivery of quality educational programmes.
