Kebbi State Television Holds 30th Anniversary Aug 2

Kebbi state government-owned Television Service Station has almost completed plans to hold its 30th anniversary celebrations scheduled for 2nd August, 2026.
General Manager of the Station Service, Sahabi Yusuf Bunza disclosed this to Kebbi State Governor’s Media Aides Team led by the Commissioner for Information and Culture, Yakubu Ahmed Birnin Kebbi who visited him in his office in Birnin Kebbi.
Bunza had told the team about the importance of the anniversary, stressing the need to celebrate the Station’s achievements and contributions to information dissemination in the state.
He commended the state government under the administration of Governor Nasir Idris for all the support and financial services it rendered to the Station.
He said the management of the Station is ready to partner with the government in programme production and other areas of collaboration to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of service delivery.
The GM also appealed to the government to provide manpower, utility vehicles, modern cameras as well as facilitate the renewal of the Station’s licence with the NBC.
Speaking earlier, the leader of the team and the Commissioner for Information and Culture, Yakubu Ahmed BK said the purpose of the visit was to strengthen collaboration with media organisations in promoting the achievements of the Kaura-led administration in Kebbi state.
