JUST IN: APC Suspends Kebbi ALGON Chairman

The Kebbi State Chapter of All Progressives Congress (APC) has suspended the Chairman All Local Government of Nigeria (ALGON) in the state, Alhaji Dahiru Nayaya Ambursa from the party with immediate effect.

His suspension was contained in a statement signed by the Zonal Vice chairman of Kebbi Central of the party, Abubakar Bello Matawalle Bunza, issued to journalists on Monday evening in Birnin Kebbi.

According to the statement, the suspension of, Dahiru Nayaya Ambursa who is also the Executive Chairman of Birnin Kebbi Local Government area, was as a result of gross misconduct which discredited the manifestos of the ruling party in the state.

The statement further indicated that the attitudes and actions of Dahiru Nayaya Ambursa violated the party’s constitution, Article 21 (2) II 2022, as amended.

The suspended chairman was, however, warned from participation of APC activities or entering its all offices in the state.

It also warned that “any further repeat violation of this during your suspension will attract severe harsh punishment by the party’s executives in the state.”
