Gombe Emir’s Cup 2026 Kicks-Off Saturday

The Organizing Committee of the Gombe Emir’s Cup – Kings Cup 2026 has concluded all necessary arrangements towards the successful opening ceremony of the prestigious tournament. The opening ceremony is fixed for Saturday, 13th June, 2026 at the Pantami Stadium by 3pm.

The Gombe Emir’s Cup continues to serve as a platform for promoting unity, sportsmanship, youth empowerment, peaceful coexistence, and talent development across Gombe State through the power of football.

The competition brings together Emirates and Chiefdom from across the state in a celebration of football, culture and community spirit.

Sponsored by the former chairman of the Gombe State Football Association, Alhaji Ahmed Shuaibu Gara Gombe, the tournament is designed to cement the cordial relationship among football stakeholders across the state.

The opening ceremony marks the official commencement of the Gombe Emir’s Cup 2026, bringing together football stakeholders, traditional institutions, government officials, participating teams, and supporters in a celebration of sports, unity, and community development.
