Following the outcome of a resource visit conducted by the National University Commission (NUC) in July, 2025, the Federal University of Education, Zaria (FUEZ) is set to offer undergraduate degree programmes. This was contained in an announcement by the University’s Director, I&P, Rakiya Sidi.
She said the Acting Vice-Chancellor of the University, Dr. Suleiman Balarabe and members of the University Management, on behalf of the Governing Council “wish to inform the entire members of the University Community and the general public that the commencement of the running of undergraduate degree programmes has been approved following the outcome of the resource visit conducted by the NUC in July, 2025”.
Consequently, it said, “the University is pleased to announce that candidates from anywhere who scored 150 and above in the 2025 UTME and having NCE certificates can apply for admission in the 2025/2026 academic session for the following courses in the following faculties:

Furthermore, according to Rakiya Sidi, for those who have not chosen FUEZ as their first choice can visit any JAMB Accredited CBT Centre to obtain a green card to make FUEZ their first choice.
