The Office of Nigeria’s Pillar of Sports has announced the grand finale of the Chief Donatus Agu- Ejidike Under-23 Football Competition, scheduled to hold this Saturday, December 20, 2025, at the iconic Wembley Playground, Government Day Secondary School, Karuma, Akerebiata, Ilorin, in Ilorin East Local Government Area of Kwara State.
The grassroots football fiesta, organised by Morrow International Football Promotion, has featured 24 vibrant Under-23 teams drawn from across communities in the Ilorin metropolis, competing over a period of more than one month in what has been a showcase of raw talent, passion, and competitive excellence, Prince Ajide Olayioye, Chairman, Office of Nigeria’s Pillar of Sports said in a statement.
The final match is expected to deliver high-octane football, electrifying fanfare, and a carnival-like atmosphere befitting a competition of this stature.
Nigeria’s Pillar of Sports describes the tournament as a strategic intervention aligned with the national vision for grassroots sports development, talent discovery, youth engagement, and social inclusion.
