Bauchi APC Endorses Tinubu’s 2nd Term bid, Assures Of 1 Million Votes

Former Bauchi State Governor, Mallam Isa Yuguda, has led Bauçhi State’s All Progressives Congress (APC) stakeholders in unanimous endorsement of President Bola Tinubu for a second term in office ahead of the 2027 general elections.

Prominent stakeholders at the gathering include former Governor of Bauchi State, Mohammed Abubakar, SAN, Minister of Health and Social Development, Prof. Muhammad Ali Pate, representatives former Minister of Foreign Affairs, Tuga, Senator Shehu Buba Umar, Bala Wunti and Nura Manu Soro.

Speaking at a stakeholders’ meeting held at the Event Center in Bauchi, the Coordinating Minister of Health and Social Development, Muhammad Ali Pate, said that the President has recorded tremendous achievements within a short period of time in office, saying that the economy of the nation has recorded drastic transformation in the areas of education, health, youth empowerment, security, agriculture, social protection amongst others.

He informed that since APC congresses from local, state, zonal and national are done successfully, they decided to come back to the state to appreciate stakeholders of the party in the state who travelled to Abuja for the national convention.

Pate said that President Bola Tinubu is worthy of appreciation for the development he has brought to Bauchi State in the last three years, adding that the President has done so much for the state by providing free obstetrics care, dialysis, upgrading of Teaching Hospital in Azare, Zonal Fistula Center in Ningi, revitalisation of more than 100 primary healthcare centre, employment of over 2,000 youths amongst others in the state.

The Minister moved a motion that, in view of the numerous developments President Tinubu brought to the state, youths and stakeholders should reciprocate the gesture by mobilizing at least one million votes for the president in the forthcoming 2027 general elections.

Also speaking, former Bauchi State Governor, Mohammed Abubakar, called on stakeholders in the party to support President Bola Tinubu’s presidential ambition come 2027 given the fact that he has brought a lot of interventions that have developed the state.

He said that the president deserves another term in office because he has alleviated the plight of the masses in the country, where previous administrations failed to achieve.

The chairman of the occasion, former Bauchi state Governor Mallam Isa Yuguda, who is also in charge of Renewed Hope Agenda in the North-East, urged good and loyal people of Bauchi to support President Tinubu’s second-term bid, saying the ongoing reforms of the president are yielding positive results in the country.

“President Tinubu still has a lot to offer to Nigerians if only we give him another opportunity to lead this great country. If he had achieved so much within this short period, I believe he will do more if given another opportunity,” he said.

He later moved a motion for the endorsement of President Tinubu for a second term in office come 2027, which was unanimously supported by all the stakeholders in the state.

Representatives of Senator Shehu Buba Umar, Senator, Tuga, Bala Wunti and Nura Manu Soro, spoke at the event, pledging allegiance to President Tinubu and endorsing his re-election bid.

Assuring that they will be unanimous in support for APC to produce the next Governor of Bauchi state.
