Barr Aysha Ahmad Honoured At First Female Mock Championship

ANNUR Chambers have emerged champion of the maiden “FEMALE MOCK CHAMPIONSHIP” in honour of Barrister Aysha Ahmad Muhammad, a distinguished legal practitioner, philanthropist and a worthy political icon that stands tall for excellence, advocacy, leadership and service.

The competition took place at the Moot Court Complex of the Faculty of Law, Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria on Thursday.

The historic initiative was designed to celebrate female excellence in advocacy, activism, and to create a platform where female law students can showcase their intellectual prowess, advocacy skills, confidence, clarity and legal brilliance.

In addition to the honour and prestige of the contest, ANNUR Chambers emerged champion and received a cash prize of N300,000, Attorney’s Chambers came came second received a cash prize of N200,000 respectfully.

The Championship promises not only a platform for recognition but a rewarding support for outstanding performance.

The honoree has proven herself as a symbol of mentorship and inspiration, nurturing and transforming less privileged in the society.

Apart from the ₦300,000 to the winning team and ₦200,000 to the runner-up, Barrister Aysha went a step further by sponsoring the education of the best student up to the Nigerian Law School.

This is a rare and selfless philanthropic gesture hardly seen, especially from a woman except Zinariyar Zazzau.

Indeed, her generosity speaks volumes as Barrister Aysha Ahmad Muhammad smartly moves forward.

Barrister Aysha advised the students to work as a team when appearing in a court by assisting the lead counsel.

She also announced the donations of 10 sets of wig and gown to the Faculty of Law.

In his message, the Dean, Faculty of Law Professor Salim Bashir Magashi expressed his profound happiness on this kind of event, stating that it will definitely expose students’ talent and it will be of great advantage to students.

Represented by the Deputy Dean, Dr. U. S. Bebeji expressed his deep appreciation to Barrister Aysha Ahmad Muhammad who is being honoured with female champion grand final.
