A group of terrorists have again attacked Immigration Check Point in Bakin Ruwa in Bagudo Local Government area of Kebbi State on Thursday night, killing three Immigration Officers, raised their vehicle and destroying their shelter-belt.
Though the spokesman of the NIS Command has not issued any statement regarding the incident and did not respond to several calls by our reporter, sources at the Command who craved anonymity confirmed the incident on Friday.
The sources also said that the Command held an emergency meeting with senior staff on how to convey the corpses of the deceased officers from Bakin Ruwa to Birnin Kebbi for funeral.
The sources gave the names of the deceased officers as Audu Hudu, Asl2; Abbas Abubakar Asl2 and Ande Jeremiah, Rank II.
When contacted, the Police Public Relations Officer of Kebbi Command, CSP Nafiu Abubakar said he was still awaiting confirmation from the NIS Command spokesman.
