The younger brother of the Former Attorney-General of the Federation and Minister of Justice, Abubakar Malami, SAN, Alhaji Almustapha Malami has, on Monday joined the 2027 re-election crusade of Governor Nasir Idris, Kauran Gwandu of Kebbi State.

In his declaration, Almustapha Malami said he was in APC and decided to join the Crusade of Governor Nasir Idris for his second term bid come 2027 due to tremendous achievements recorded within two years of his administration in the Kebbi State.

He said “Whether we like it or not, Governor Idris has transformed the state capital Birnin Kebbi to a level it deserves to be.

“And if we vot him again in 2027, Kebbi State will become like city of London and people will be accommodated,” he added.

He noted that he joined the crusade with one mind and no amount of threats can stop him.

Receiving him, the APC chairman in the state, Alhaji Muhammed Kana Zuru, said he was not surprise to see Almustapha Malami in the crusade of Governor Idris’s second term bid because of his peculiar behaviour which aligned with differentiation between lies and truth, and between reality and predictions.

Kana commended Almustapha’s decision, assuring him that the party will co-opt him in all its activities and programmes as well as his protection.

He assured that Kaura-led administration is welcoming such individual joining the crusade of the governor for a second term and would be given due consideration in government.
