OsunDecides: Voting Continues In 14 LGAs As Of 9pm

Voting was still ongoing in 14 local government areas of Osun State as of 8:28pm on Saturday, several hours after the scheduled closing time for the governorship election.

Several voters were still seen at polling units in parts of Ikire, Ede, Osogbo, Olorunda and Obokun, among other areas, as the exercise continued into the evening.

The affected local government areas include Irewole, Egbedore, Osogbo, Olorunda, Ejigbo, Ilesa West, Ife East, Ilesa East, Ola-Oluwa, Obokun, Atakumosa West, Atakumosa East, Ede North and Ifelodun.

The prolonged voting was reportedly linked to delays and disruptions experienced at some polling units during the day.

As of the time of filing this report, voters were still waiting to cast their ballots in some locations, while electoral officials continued the process.
