Igbo Community Endorses Kauran Gwandu’s Re-election Bid

The Eze Igbo of Kebbi State, Chief Emeka Okafor has said that his palace has mobilised the Igbo community towards providing block votes for Governor Nasir Idris (Kauran Gwandu) Re-election come 2027 due to the developmental services he offered to the populace.
According to him, during the INEC PVCs exercise, over 5,000 Igbos have registered and I tained their voter cards.
The monarch who doubles as the Chairman of Other Tribes Council of Chiefs as well as (Dan -Jikan Gwandu) told newsmen at his Farm in Badariya area in Birnin Kebbi that the Igbo society and other non-indigenes have pitched their loyalty to the APC-led administrations at the federal and state levels.
According to him, Governor Idris has shown a lot of concern to his community, therefore the Igbos would never betray him, noting how they benefitted from government palliatives and political appointments besides financial assistance to individuals and the community as a whole.
He added that Igbos are very humle, industrious and promising set of people. One can see in the apprenticeship structure where businessmen develope the poor.
Mr. Okafor who is also the CEO of KARFI Engineering Nigeria Limited and a business tycoon in Northern Nigeria, also called on Governor Idris to grant them audience to the businessmen in order to offer useful information and advise on how to tackle insecurity across Kebbi State.
