Kebbi Govt Tasks New Media Aides On Challenges Ahead Of 2027 Polls

Kebbi State government has called on New Media Special Assistants ( SAs) to Governor Nasir Idris to brace up for the challenges ahead of the forthcoming INEC general elections in 2027.

The charge was given by the state Commissioner for Information and Culture, Yakubu Ahmed Birnin Kebbi while addressing the aides in Zuru town during a visit.

The Commissioner also charged the 23 SAs to learn to be professionals in discharging their assignments concerning government’s activities and programmes in the state.

Let me draw your attention as the general elections draw nearer, keep away from emerging desperation of opposition political elements in Kebbi State whose stock in trade has been to engage in scaremongering through acts of deliberate misinformation and barefaced lies in an attempt to corner power by all means necessary,” Birnin Kebbi added.

While commending their courage and hard work in the last three years of the Kaura-led administration, he urged them to be accurate, fair, firm and fearless in posting the achievements of Governor Nasir Idris in Kebbi state.
