Kebbi Hisbah Officials Nab Man Hiding Inside Bag

Officials of the Hisbah Agency under the Ministry of Religious Affairs in Kebbi State have arrested a man who hid himself inside a bag in someone else’s matrimonial home in Badariya area of Birnin Kebbi metropolis.

This was disclosed in a statement issued on Tuesday by the Director, Shari’a Agency, Mallam Sirajo Kamba.

The statement further indicated that it was the residents in the area who alerted the officials of Hisbah about the incident in the evening of Monday.

During interrogation, both the man and the woman confessed that there was nothing in the bag, except the man concealed inside in order to commit illicit affair with the woman in the house.

The statement noted that such action contravene both Islamic teachings and cultural practices of the state.

The suspects, according to the director, would be charged to court while investigation continues.
