NSSF Consoles With Kano State Over Coach Yakubu’s demise

The President of the Nigeria School Sports Federation (NSSF) Mrs Olabisi Joseph and executive members of the Federation have expressed their condolences to the Government and people of Kano State over the sad demise of Coach Yakubu, especially while recalling his long service, love, affection and concern for the development of basketball in Kano State and Nigeria at large.

NSSF will, forever, not forget his contribution to the development of Grassroots basketball, during his lifetime which he was a hardworking and straight forward person.

The National Public Relations Officer (PRO) of the Federation, Mallam Sagiru Sani Dandango escalated the message of the President to the deceased’s family, government and good people of Kano.

The NSSF urged the Ministry of Education and the sporting youth of Kano State to consider the loss as an act of the Almighty Allah and also pray for the repose of his soul and eternal mercy.
