Gov Mala Buni’s Legacy Projects Transform Yobe – Baffale

The administration of Mai Mala Buni has continued to receive commendation for what many describe as landmark legacy projects cutting across critical sectors in Yobe State.

Speaking on the achievements of the present administration, Umar Adamu Baffale praised Governor Buni’s giant strides in education, healthcare delivery, human capital development, infrastructure, agriculture, women empowerment and security.

According to him, the government has made significant investments in the education sector through the construction and renovation of schools, provision of learning materials and recruitment of qualified teachers aimed at improving standard of education across the state.

In the health sector, he noted that modern health facilities have been constructed and equipped to enhance access to quality healthcare services, particularly in rural communities. He added that the administration’s focus on human capital development has opened opportunities for youth training, skills acquisition and employment.

Umar Adamu Baffale also highlighted the construction of modern markets across major towns in the state, describing them as strategic economic hubs that will boost local businesses and improve internally generated revenue.

He further commended the construction of the Damaturu flyover bridge in Damaturu, saying it stands as a symbol of urban modernization and infrastructural advancement.

According to him, the ongoing development of both rural and urban roads have improved connectivity, eased transportation and enhanced socio-economic activities across the state.

On agriculture, Baffale stated that the Buni administration has empowered thousands of farmers with fertilizers, farm inputs, irrigation support and modern farming tools to strengthen food security and improve livelihoods.

He also described women empowerment initiatives under the administration as impactful, noting that many women have benefited from financial support programs and business development schemes aimed at promoting economic independence.

Speaking on security, he said the relative peace being enjoyed in the state today is a testament to the government’s commitment to strengthening security architecture and collaborating with security agencies.

Umar Adamu Baffale concluded that youth inclusion in Governor Buni’s administration is highly commendable, as young people have been given opportunities to serve in government, participate in decision-making processes and contribute meaningfully to the development of the state.

He called on citizens to continue supporting the administration to consolidate on its achievements and ensure sustainable development for future generations.
