Ibom Air/Akwa United Motivate 2 Players With Performance Award

Following their impressive performances on the field, the duo of Akwa United defender, Charles Etim and forward, Erikan Francis, have been bestowed with the Ibom Air/Akwa United awards for the month of November 2025.

Charles Etim was named Ibom Air/Akwa United Player of the Month for November 2025 after an impressive run of performance. The defender featured in all the club’s matches in November and provided three assists, playing a key role both in defence and attack.

The Media Manager of Akwa United FC, Mfon Patrick said Erikan Francis won the Goal of the Month award for his match-winning strike against Abakaliki FC. The forward came off the bench to fire a fine volley into the net to secure victory for Akwa United.

He explained that Both players were presented with their awards before the start of training on Friday, January 2, 2026, at the Uyo Township Stadium.

The awards are part of the incentive packages from the strategic partnership between Ibom Air and Akwa United.

Akwa United FC, purveyor.com.ng reports, will return to action as the NNL resumes after the festive break welcoming Stormers FC to the Uyo Township Stadium (today), Sunday January 4, 2026, by 3:00 pm.
