There’s Virtue in Humanitarian Assistance – Analyst

Hajiya Maimuna Idris Muhammad, an analyst, has said that there is virtue in humanitarian assistance which Non-Govermental Associations are engaged in doing in Nigeria.

Hajiya Maimuna hinted in an interview with media representatives in Calabar, the Cross River State capital that “I founded Arewa Unity and Development Association (AUDA) with the sole purpose of bringing philanthropists and benefactors together to create a change in our societies.”

She explained further that “due to the personal challenges I had faced and seen through my life journey, I’m pushed to create this Association. And I have the passion of helping people; making people do the same too.”

Hajiya Maimuna Idris Muhammad who is also a journalist explained the challenges so far she has experienced: “It has been four years I have been trying to make the association stand but to no vail, but this time I have beaten my chest to make it a success In Sha Allah.”

She is confident enough that “I believe two heads are better than one and I am calling on you to join this movement, so that we can create a difference,” Hajiya Maimuna declared.
