Tragedy In Yobe As CMD Of FMC Nguru Loses Twin Daughters, 2 Days Apart

A tragic loss has struck the family of the Chief Medical Director of the Federal Medical Centre, Nguru, Yobe State, Dr. Hadiza Usman, following the death of her twin daughters two days apart.
One of the twins, Dr. Hadiya Usman, a Medical Doctor, died on Friday, 2nd October, 2026.
Her twin sister, Dr. Aisha Usman, a Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD), also passed away on Sunday, 4th October, 2026.
The mother of the deceased confirmed the two deaths in separate messages shared on her WhatsApp status, announcing the passing of her twin daughters.
The deaths have left the family, colleagues and the wider medical community mourning the loss of the twin sisters who were born together but passed away just two days apart.
The tragic development also attracted messages of condolence and prayers for the bereaved family and the repose of the souls of the deceased twins.
