He added that doing so would give orphans the opportunity to think that they are children like any other children in the community, who have not been forgotten.

He therefore called on wealthy individuals to be more committed to helping the weak in the community, especially at this time of the upcoming Sallah celebration to alleviate their suffering and make them happy so that they can be like everyone else in the community.
This support DSP Ladan offered to the orphans gulped about over 1.5 million naira which about 90 girls benefited from clothes. Each of them received one wrapper and cash for sewing the clothes, while 50 boys who benefited from the support, each received a piece of material, and sent to tailors for sewing.
This event was attended by dignitaries from Jakusko town, including the Lawani of the town, the Chief Imam of the town and various others who both expressed joy over the event, which they acknowledged as rare to find, especially by a security officer who serves the community in his capacity as the DPO in Jakusko Local Government Area.
