Supporters Welcome Kwankwaso To Cross River

Supporters of the Nigeria National People Party (NNPP) in their tens of thousands, Wednesday, thronged the streets of Calabar, the Cross River State capital to welcome the party’s leader, Dr. Rabi’u Musa Kwankwaso to Calabar.

The ardent party loyalists, cladded in the party’s symbolic cap, paid homage to the leader as sign of their true love for the party.

“I came to Cross River for a visit, and as you know it’s not yet time for campaigning but I’m here to exchange pleasantries with our great party loyalists,” Kwankwaso said

The Leader, however, seized the opportunity to advise Northern affiliates resident in Cross River to ensure that they validate their Voters Cards ahead of 2027 general election.He

He showered encomium on the party supporters in Cross River.

Responding, the youths leader of the Northern affiliates in Cross River, Alhaji Muhammed Danjuma, thanked the former Governor, Defence Minister and Senator, for finding time to visit the party members and Kwankwasiya loyalists.

Also speaking, Umar Darki, alias Umar ‘Police’, who is the Media Coordinator of the Northerners in the state, praised the party leader for his untiring support to the Northerners resident in the South. “Dr. Rabi’u Musa Kwankwaso is a great leader with untiring contributions towards human development among others,” ‘Police’ remarked.
