Sakan FC Wins iDANRAKA Care Competition, N1m

Sakan Football Club Zaria City emerged champion with a cash prize of ₦1,000,000 (One Million Naira) after defeating Amana Football Club by a lone goal at the final of the 5th edition of iDANRAKA Care Foundation Football Competition.

Amana Football Club smiled home with ₦500,000 (Five Hundred Thousand Naira), as the runners up while the third-place team, Silver Star won ₦300,000 (Three Hundred Thousand Naira).

The final match was played at the Al-Huda Huda College, Zaria football field, drawing the attention of football lovers, community members together to witness young talents showcasing discipline and sportsmanship.

The Most Disciplined and Well-Behaved Team, Zee Town Football Academy received the sum of ₦200,000 (Two Hundred Thousand Naira).

Beyond the prizes, several awards were presented to celebrate outstanding performances, teamwork and fair play.

At the final match, certificate of honour were presented to distinguished personalities that graced the occasion.

The tournament once again reaffirmed the Foundation’s commitment to youth development, talent discovery and promotion of unity through sports.
