Kebbi Speaker Distributes 30 Motorcycles To Constituents

The Speaker, Kebbi State House of Assembly, Hon. Mohammed Usman Zuru has distributed 30 motorcycles to the people of his Constituency aimed at easing transportation and livelihood.

Presenting the motorcycles at a ceremony held in Zuru town which was witnessed by many APC supporters in the area, Hon. Mohammed Usman Zuru, ably represented by Hon. Lawal Haruna Gele, member representing Fakai Constituency, said the gesture is to complement the Kaura-led administration’s efforts in assisting the less-privileged in the society, especially in the areas of transportation.

He added that the Speaker’s Commitment is to empower people, particularly youths in transportation businesses so as to become self reliant.

“This commitment is part of our initiative to empower our people, especially youths to improve the socio-economic situation in our constituency. Chairmen of Zuru Local Government and APC in the area, Hon. Bala Isah Gajere and Abubakar Abiola, commended the gesture, urging other members to emulate the Speaker.

Some beneficiaries who spoke with journalists expressed their happiness for the gesture which they said is timely.
