Kebbi: Security Operatives Kill One Lakurawa Bandit, Recover 2 Motorcycles

A combined team of security personnel have killed one suspected Lakurawa bandit and recovered two motorcycles after a gun battle in Malam Yaro Village in Dandi Local Government area of Kebbi State.

During the battle, the security forces killed one bandit while others fled into the bush with fatal gunshot wounds, abandoning two of their motorcycles.

This was made known by the Public Relations Officer of Kebbi Police Command, CSP Nafiu Abubakar in a statement.

The statement further indicated that already, the state’s Commissioner of Police, CP Bello M. Sani has deployed more Policemen, Military and Vigilantes in the area and other troubled areas in order to curb insecurity across the state.

It added that the Command has also enforced thorough investigation into the occurrence of Lakurawa activities in the area and other parts of Kebbi State.
