On the Emir of Gwandu, Alhaji Muhammadu Iliyasu Bashar, Sambo Khaleil said, “He is a complete gentleman, a retired senior military officer who held various positions in the country and Gwandu Emirate before he became the Emir. He doesn’t disturb or mount pressure on his subjects and those answerable to him like district, village and ward heads. We are living in peace with him, no oppression and no disturbances from him,” he added.
