Kano Governor Is Faring Well – Director Of Sports

The Kano State Director of Sports, Alhaji Umar Abubakar Sadik, has poured encomiums on Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf, saying he is doing very well in terms of development of the state within the short period of his administration.

Alhaji Umar Sadik said in an interview in Calabar on Thursday that since coming into into office “His Excellency has been doing so great in sports.”

The director was in Calabar participating in a retreat themed: “The business of Sports Creating Jobs, Wealth and Utility under the Renewed Hope Agenda.“

According to Alhaji Sadik, “Kano State, under the able leadership of Engr Abba Kabir Yusuf, has fared very well in sports and its development in the state as the director couldn’t find enough words to praise the governor for his developmental strides in the state as he (Governor) is touching every nooks and crannies for development.“

The director further said “It’s now that the state has a vibrant and energetic governor that follows the foot steps of former Governor, Engr Dr. Rabi’u Musa Kwankwaso in promoting the state to higher level for other states to emulate.

The director added that “with Governor Yusuf, we have never proposed anything before the governor got turned down as he is always acknowledges the efforts of our Commissioner of Sports, Alhaji Mustapha Rabi’u Kwankwaso.”
