Jigawa Not Left Behind In Development – Director Of Sports

The Jigawa State Director of Sports, Alhaji Ali Mohammed Ibrahim, has said the state government is not relenting in promoting human development through sports in the state.
The director hinted in an interview with our reporter in Calabar saying “sporting activities under Jigawa state governor is quite impressive.”
H1e said “under Governor Umar A. Namadi, sports, from grassroots level to the top, is getting more attention as His Excellency has continued ensuring that Jigawa State is not left behind.”
The director also added “as I speak with you, since the inception of this administration, and in my two years in office, His Excellency has doled out reason amount of money into sports.”
For the sports development, the director maintained “much is ongoing in the renovation of stadium at Dutse, Kazaure and others.”
The director was also in Cross River State for a week-long retreat for stakeholders from across ministries, sports councils and other relevant agencies.
