Insecurity: Kebbi Govt Presents 4 Additional Vehicles To MOPOL

In its efforts to boost security in the state, Kebbi State Government has distributed four additional vehicles to the Mobile Policemen to make surveillance at strategic locations in Birnin Kebbi metropolis and outside the state capital.

While presenting the vehicles to the Commandant of MOPOL, Secretary to the State Government, Yakubu Bala Tafida said “His Excellency, the Executive Governor of Kebbi State, Nasir Idris (Kauran Gwandu) has mandated me to present these four vehicles to beef up security surveillance at strategic areas in the state.

“The areas include Badariya, Kalgo, Makera and Ambursa under Birnin Kebbi and Kalgo Local Government areas in the state,” he added.

According to the SSG, the essence of the donation of the vehicles is to complement the Kaura-led administration in protecting the lives and properties of people in the state.

He commended the security agencies for their untiring efforts to curbing insecurity to a minimal stage in the state.

Recieving the keys of the vehicles, the MOPOL Commandant, Aliyu Abubakar, thanked the state government for the gesture.

He assured that the MOPOL department would utilise the vehicles for the purpose for which they were given.
