Gov Mohammed Hails Emir Of Bauchi For Eid Durbar Homage

Governor Bala Mohammed, on Saturday, received the traditional Eid Durbar homage at the Government House, Bauchi, which was led by the Emir of Bauchi, Alhaji (Dr.) Rilwanu Suleiman Adamu, alongside district heads and other traditional title holders from across the Emirate.
The colourful durbar occasion, rich in cultural heritage and traditional splendour, showcased the deep-rooted customs of the Bauchi Emirate, drawing admiration from dignitaries and residents alike.

Speaking at the occasion, Governor Bala Mohammed commended the Emir of Bauchi for his exemplary leadership and unwavering commitment to peace and unity within the state. He called on citizens to remain law-abiding and continue to support government efforts aimed at sustaining peace and development.
The Governor also expressed gratitude to Almighty Allah for the opportunity to witness this year’s Eid celebrations in good health and harmony.

In his remark on behalf of the traditional council, the Emir of Bauchi appreciated the Governor for the warm reception accorded to the durbar contingents at the Government House. He lauded the administration’s strides in infrastructure development and governance, noting the visible impact of projects executed across Bauchi State.
The durbar created an atmosphere of unity and shared celebration, bringing together traditional rulers, government officials and residents in a display of culture, loyalty and community spirit that defines the Eid festivities in Bauchi State.
