Gov Buni Condoles With BASG, Dahiru Bauchi Family

Governor (Dr) Mai Mala Buni of Yobe state, on Wednesday paid a personal condolence visit to the Bauchi State Government, the family of late Sheikh Dahiru Usman Bauchi and the Tijjaniya Movement over the death of the renowned cleric last week.
In a press statement by Mamman Mohammed, DG Press and Media Affairs to Governor Buni said earlier, a high-powered government delegation led by the Speaker, Yobe State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Chiroma Buba Mashio, had attended the funeral prayer for the late Sheikh in Bauchi.
Gov. Buni, along with the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Political Affairs and Other Matters, Alh. Ibrahim Kabiru Masari, prayed for the repose of the soul of the late Sheikh.
He described the death as painful “Sheikh died at a time when his wise counselling and prayers for the nation are most needed but, that was his appointed time by our Creator.
“Late Sheikh Dahiru Usman Bauchi lived his life in service to Islam, we pray to Almighty Allah to accept all his ibadah, forgive his shortcomings and admit him into Aljannat Firdaus,” Gov. Buni prayed.
He also prayed to Allah to grant the family and the Tijjaniya Movement, the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
The Governor urged his followers and indeed all Nigerians to continue to pray for Allah to guide President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and all leaders for improved security, peace and prosperity of the country.
The Senior Special Assistant to the President, Alh. Masari also prayed for the repose of the soul of late Sheikh Dahiru Usman Bauchi, describing him as a great scholar who would be missed immensely. “May Allah grant him eternal rest in Aljannat Firdaus,” he prayed.
